IFEDA is a Quality based trade association whose objectives include the professional and ethical delivery of fire protection products and services to end-users. These objectives are achieved by requiring that all members obtain and adhere to nationally recognised quality standards.

Why IFEDA membership is important

All IFEDA member companies must achieve ISO 9001–2000 in line with requirements of BAFE scheme SP101.
All IFEDA members must operate the BAFE scheme ST104 which requires the licensing of all service personnel. Companies are audited to ensure compliance with the IFEDA's required standards before membership is granted. All IFEDA members must allow regular third party audits of their works and company operations.

All this means that when you choose a company which is IFEDA Accredited that you can guarantee that you have a 'COMPETENT' contractor.
