What is Amerex KP?
Amerex offers the widest choice of approved kitchen fire suppression in the market place with detection and suppression options to suit every scenario. The system is listed by Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc., (UL) and tested to standard UL300. Also approved by LPCB (LPS1223). Amerex offers two systems to meet the industry's varying needs. With the Amerex KP Restaurant Fire Suppression System, you get appliance-specific coverage that typically offers lower initial cost. The KP system is ideal for uses where applicable location is fixed, such as in fast food chains, casual dining, cruise ships and school cafeterias. The Amerex Zone Defence Restaurant Fire Suppression System adds greater flexibility by letting you reconfigure a kitchen or more appliances without moving nozzles. The nozzles are equally spaced and are situated high out of the way of kitchen staff. Due to the adaptability, this system is the most cost effective choice over the life of the system, if cooking configuration is altered. The Zone Defence system was designed with fine dining, culinary schools, military facilities, hotels and hospitals in mind.

Installation and Maintenance
As a proud authorised distributor, we install and service Amerex Zone Defence and KP suppression systems in locations throughout the UK. Any installation comes with a manufacturer's five-year warranty and can be altered and repaired by our engineers. If you require maintenance on your fire suppression system, or you are interested in finding out more, contact us today and we'll be glad to help keep your business safe. When an Amerex Fire Suppression system is installed, it will immediately offer protection to staff, premises and equipment. The Amerex Zone Defence system uses fusible link or pneumatic detection technology to quickly detect a fire, whilst also simultaneously interfacing with gas valve/electrical supply. After 6 months, a bi-annual service will be required. This ensures you are meeting the system requirements and, subsequently, ensures you are conforming to your insurance providers requirements. In addition, we offer 24/7 call outs to keep your system in optimum working order and to keep your business safe and running. Once the system reaches 10 years old, it must be given an overhaul. This is a specific requirement to comply with British Standard. If this requirement is not satisfied, the system may not work when required to do so or, even worse, cause an injury to someone when the system is fired.
5 Year Warranty
All new Ansul systems come with a 5 year warranty against defects giving you peace of mind.
10 Year Overhaul
All Ansul systems must be overhauled within 10 years of install to ensure continued performance and safety.
